The Santa Fe Federated Republican Women is part of the National
FRW, one of the oldest and largest grassroots political organization
in the country.

The SFFRW is committed to providing voters with important and
accurate information on current political issues so that everyone can
make informed decisions.  We provide opportunities for members
and guests to meet candidates so that voters can decide which
candidate best reflects your views and which candidate you will
support.

Our events provide a congenial setting to meet interesting people
who share your political principles, to socialize with friends, and to
hear informative speakers.  Our regular monthly lunch meetings are
held September through May.  Our social group, Club 54, meets for
a cocktail reception every other month.

Locally, our SFFRW has been actively involved in political issues
that face all Santa Feans and all New Mexicans.  We have taken the
lead in petitioning the State Legislature to repeal the law that allows
illegal aliens to get NM Drivers Licenses.  Our State organization, the
NMFRW, is working with all New Mexico FRW Clubs to pass
legislation requiring a Photo Voter ID.

We invite you to join us!

Although only women can join as full members, we welcome men as
associate members.  In fact, nearly 40% of our regular attendees are
men!
Santa Fe FRW
Club 54 is a social / political networking group that meets for a
cocktail reception every other month.  The purpose of Club 54
is to give men and women an opportunity to meet and share
ideas, to keep informed of important issues, and to strengthen
the conservative community in Santa Fe.

While Club 54 is organized under the umbrella of the SFFRW,
attendance is open to anyone, regardless of party affiliation, who
shares our common values of fiscal responsibility, accountability
of our elected officials, common sense legislation based on the
Constitutionally mandated roles of government, an end to
corruption at all levels of government, and voter integrity.

The name, Club 54, reflects the fact that 54% of registered
voters nationwide are women.  Although men are important
members of the SFFRW and Club 54, the SFFRW is a
women's organization, so we wanted to recognize the important
role of women in politics.

The first Ladies of Liberty Gala was a celebration of the 90th
anniversary of the final ratification of the 19th Amendment,
which gave women the right to vote.  It took 70 years for
women to gain voting rights.  It is with that spirit that Club 54
members will help to support the 'good government' initiatives
we have been championing and to bring new voters into political
action.
